Cooley and Company Interior Design, with offices in Atlanta and Dallas, is a design firm specializing in residential, commercial and multi-family projects nationwide. Designers and sisters-in-law, Anne-Michelle Cooley and Joanie Cooley teamed up in 2009 to combine their expertise and experience in order to help clients translate their personality and fulfill their needs within the interior of their home or office. Anne-Michelle and Joanie create inviting, fresh, and informed spaces by listening with a keen ear and dedicating their time and attention to every detail.

Anne-Michelle and Joanie collaborate to provide their residential clients with unique interiors that reflect their personal tastes and lifestyles. Cooley and Company draws from Anne-Michelle and Joanie’s strong backgrounds in art history and the decorative arts to create classically inspired interiors with a modern, comfortable aesthetic. Joanie also provides specialized consultation for curation of art and antiques collections. Cooley and Company is a turnkey design firm, guiding their clients through all facets and stages of design, construction, procurement, and installation for projects ranging from small remodels to new construction.
Commercial
Cooley and Company’s commercial projects include office renovations, condominium conversions; and multi-family clubhouses, model homes, and exterior color consultations. The firm works closely with the client to space plan the project based on the client's needs, coordinates with the architects in providing the construction documents, and consults with the contractors to ensure the design intent is upheld. Anne-Michelle's years of experience in all phases of commercial space planning and design ensure a comprehensive and detailed plan that reflects the unique requirements of each client, project, and market.

Anne-Michelle Cooley brings more than 19 years of interiors experience to her clients. She has worked with several residential and commercial design firms in Atlanta and Dallas and has owned her own interiors firm since 2002. Several of Anne-Michelle’s projects have been featured in Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, House Beautiful Homebuidling, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, and Builder Magazine. A registered interior designer, she received certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) in 2006. Anne-Michelle Cooley holds a B.A. in Art History from Washington and Lee University and a second B.A. in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Anne-Michelle lives in Atlanta with her husband, Kyle, and son, Sam.
Joanie Cooley brings more than 17 years of design experience gained through extensive education in art history, decorative arts, and architectural history. Joanie integrates her vast academic experiences with current design trends to help clients discover and identify their own individual styles. Joanie completed Sotheby's American Arts Course in New York, focusing on American fine and decorative arts, and she attended the prestigious Attingham Trust Summer School in England, where she was immersed in the history and style of the English country house. Joanie earned a B.A. in Art History from Southern Methodist University and is a candidate for her Masters in Art History SMU. Joanie lives in Dallas with her husband and two sons.
